Greek food, cooked by Greeks.
Mezze, grilled meats, gyros, moussaka, salad, warm pitta and food designed to arrive in the middle of the table. The point is generosity, not fuss.

The Mad Platter is Christos Kyriakidis' Greek kitchen and cocktail bar, sitting right in the middle of Usk.
Christos Kyriakidis
Christos bought The Mad Platter in 2017, after previously working for the venue's former owner.
Born into Greek hospitality culture and with years behind the bar, Christos turned the Bridge Street microbar into something that reflects both sides of his experience: generous Greek food and a cocktail list handled with real care. Today the place is known for Greek platters, Sunday lunch, bottomless brunch and drinks with a little theatre.

Mezze, grilled meats, gyros, moussaka, salad, warm pitta and food designed to arrive in the middle of the table. The point is generosity, not fuss.
Christos is an award-winning mixologist with more than two decades in hospitality. Classics sit alongside signature serves, plus gin, cider, ale and whatever is interesting behind the bar.
The Mad Platter sits at 7 Bridge Street, close to the centre of town. It is intimate enough to feel personal and relaxed enough to turn dinner into the rest of the evening.
The rabbit, the hat and the odd little detail are there as a wink. The references stay subtle so the restaurant still feels grown-up, but never completely sensible.
The white rabbit
The Mad Platter name gives us permission to have some fun.
You will spot the white rabbit throughout the site, but we have kept the design away from novelty theming. Think more editorial character, less tea-party costume.
